
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Nassau County.
Thunderstorms late Wednesday afternoon and evening ”may produce damaging wind gusts,” the NWS says.

- Tonight- A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 7pm and 2am. Some of the storms could produce small hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain. Increasing clouds, with a low around 64. South wind 7 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
- Thursday- A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. Southwest wind 7 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
- Thursday Night- A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. West wind 5 to 8 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
- Friday- Sunny, with a high near 77. Northeast wind around 6 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
