All Great Neck Elementary Schools Rank Among State's Best

All four elementary schools in the Great Neck School District were ranked among the top 100 public elementary schools in New York, which were based on 2017 rankings from Niche.com.

Here's how they placed:

• Lakeville Elementary School— No. 1
• E.M. Baker School— No. 6
• Saddle Rock School— No. 14
• John F. Kennedy School— No. 23

The rankings are an improvement over the last year. In 2016, three schools made the list. In 2015, four Great Neck elementary schools made the list.

Lakeville Elementary School in Great Neck was named the highest ranked school in Nassau County and New York State.

The rankings accessed 48,625 public elementary schools and analyzed them based on academic and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and parents on Niche.com.
