Manhasset Business Helps Family on 'George to the Rescue'
Showcase Kitchens helps a deserving Amityville family get their dream kitchen in reality show.
Showcase Kitchens teamed up with NBC’s “George to the Rescue” team to help an Amityville family get their dream kitchen.
Michael Rosenberg, of Massapequa’s Showcase Kitchens, and John Starck, of Manhasset’s branch, combined forces to build the dream kitchen.

Bellmore’s Marlaina Teich recommended the project and also served as their interior designer during the show’s taping. She approached Starck to spearhead the project, which built the kitchen for a family whose husband is a veteran and whose wife had been diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer.
The show will air Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on NBC.

“George to the Rescue” follows George Oliphant as he performs home improvements across the country for families in need.
