Craig Weiss Promoted to Managing Director at Melville-based T. Weiss Realty Corp

Craig Weiss has been promoted to managing director at Melville-based T. Weiss Realty Corp., one of Long Island’s largest family-run real estate development companies since 1969.

Weiss, who joined his family’s company in 2007, takes on joint responsibility with his father, Ted Weiss, for the operational oversight of T. Weiss Realty Corp., TOTUS Business Centers and BBRC, the general contracting arm of T. Weiss Realty. 

Weiss has been instrumental in bringing TD Bank's regional headquarters to Melville, as well as responsible for leasing more than 110,000 square feet of local office space in a difficult economy. 

Weiss received his bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Richmond where he graduated cum laude. He previously worked at Morgan Stanley as a hedge fund trader.
