Voter's Guide: HHH School Budget, Board Election

What you need to know for Tuesday's vote.

Residents in the Half Hollow Hills School District will vote on the $238,658,101 proposed budget for the 2015-16 school year on Tuesday, May 19.

The proposal calls for a 1.90 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 2.34 percent tax levy increase, which adheres to the tax cap legislation.

Four candidates are vying for two open seats on the HHH Board of Education, Andrew Wroblewski reports.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Half Hollow High School East- East Gymnasium.
