Suffolk County Bank Robbed

The robbery occurred Saturday afternoon, police say.

Brentwood, NY - Police say a man robbed a bank in Brentwood on Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the man entered the Roslyn Savings Bank located at 101 Wicks Road at 12:09 p.m., approached a teller and displayed a note demanding cash.

The teller complied and the man fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported.

The robber is described as white, about 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black coat with a hood, a black mask and black pants, police said.

Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are continuing to investigate. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call anonymously Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
