Car Erupts Into Ball Of Flames In Suffolk

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A car burst into flames early Tuesday in Huntington Station. The Huntington Manor Fire Department headed to East 9th Street at 12:26 a.m. to battle the fully-involved car, according to P.I.O. Steve Silverman.
The blaze was quickly extinguished, with Chief Jon Hoffmann and First Assistant Chief Chuck Brady first to arrive. Crews from engines 3, 4, and 17 doused the fire. No injuries were reported.
