Huntington Student Honored Alongside Fellow Suffolk County Valedictorians
The Huntington High School valedictorian was recently honored at a luncheon for her many accomplishments.

At Huntington High School, Caitlyn Knowles stood out from the rest to become the class of 2015 valedictorian.
The high school senior recently joined students across Suffolk County who are just like her. The students, who will graduate at the top of their respective class, were honored for their academic excellence at a valedictorian luncheon.

Valedictorians from all across Suffolk County and their families attended the Suffolk County School Superintendents’ Association Valedictorian Luncheon, according to Huntington UFSD.
The Huntington valedictorian attended the luncheon alongside her parents, Ms. Lori Kenny, Principal Carmela Leonardi, Superintendent Jim Polansky and Board Trustee Bill Dywer.

Knowles will attend University of Virginia in the fall where she will pursue a double major in environmental science and economics. She has been accepted into the Echols Scholars and College Science Scholars programs.
