Hollywood Comes To The Hudson Valley: Week In Review
Fire Risk, Drought Concerns Growing | Plane Crash | Fat & Sassy Goats Getting The Job Done | Explosion, Fire At Power Plant | Harry Potter

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The news wasn't always cheery this week as polio, monkeypox and West Nile took a foothold in the region while drought concerns grew and the year's first case of epizootic hemorrhagic disease emerged in deer.
Fortunately, there were plenty of ways in the Hudson Valley to escape reality for a little while. A new ride was christened at Playland. A Chappaqua mansion starred in the new Pete Davidson movie and Harry Potter will fly to town on a broom.
