July 25: Lots of Levittown Library Events, ACT Tutoring and more

Your daily guide to what's going on in Levittown.

1. It's Monday, which means you made it through a weekend of intense heat. Temperatures are supposed to stay cooler this week (although they'll still stay in the 80s). As always, there's plenty to do around Levittown if you're looking for something.

2. There's a Levittown School Board meeting tomorrow, but if you want to get out today, there are plenty of options for you to fill your time at the Levittown Public Library. They will be holding a book club for children entering second grade tonight starting at 6pm. The featured book will be Ready for Anything by Keiko Kazka.

3. The Levittown Public Library will be holding its weekly "All Together Now" story time program for children aged 1 1/2 to 3 1/2. The event will run from 10am to 10:45 am. Registration is not required, but admittance is on a first come first serve basis.

4. Need something to do? Why not go bowling? South Levittown Lanes has "Bonanza Time" every weekday during the summer from 9am-5pm. Kids are able to bowl one game free (shoes included) during this time, and there are additional discounts for others.

5. Need help studying for the ACTs? The Sylvan Learning Center is offering ACT prep courses for students who do. You can sign up by calling 516-735-6800.
