Entrepreneurs And So Much More at Lindenhurst Middle School
Special education classes celebrate opening of new school store.
Students in Laurie Ott and Melanie Inzirillo’s special education classes recently celebrated the grand opening of a new corner store located on the second floor of Lindenhurst Middle School.
The store offers a unique opportunity for students to enhance their math, language and social skills in an authentic environment. Student will sell seasonal goods such as wrapping paper and personalized ornaments, as well as products for daily use like stamps and tissues.
On it’s first day, the store met with much success, selling out of several items. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held symbolizing that the store was open for business. Mr. Frank Naccarato cut the ribbon with pleasure.
