Lindenhurst Village Tree Lighting, Holiday Parade Set for Sunday
Santa Claus will also be coming to town.

The Village of Lindenhurst’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Parade is set for this Sunday, Dec. 7.
Here’s the full rundown of events for what promises to be another great day in Lindenhurst:
- Santa in Village Square (corner of North Wellwood and East Hoffman avenues)- 1- 3 p.m. – Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce and Lindenhurst Fire Department
- Holiday Wreath Contest – 1-2 p.m. – Mayor’s Beautification Society, BACCA Arts Center, 149 North Wellwood Avenue
- Lindenhurst Historical Society – Holiday Meeting – 2-3 p.m., BACCA Arts Center, 149 North Wellwood Avenue
- Downtown Holiday Events – 3- 5 p.m. - (South Wellwood Avenue closed)- Roller skating, performance by high school cast of ”Legally Blonde,” performance by Stagelight Entertainment cast of ”A Christmas Carol,” entertainment by Music & Arts, refreshments hosted by Legis. Kevin McCaffrey
- Fire Department Holiday Parade – At dusk
- Recognition of high school football champs
- Tree Lighting – After parade
- Assemb. Robert Sweeney – Official tree lighter
