Long Beach Crime Report: Arrest in Fatal Shooting, Assault, DWIs

A major arrest came this week after Antonio Webb, 22, of Long Beach, was charged in the fatal shooting of Tyrenzo Brown on Birch Court, said Long Beach Police Department. Read the full story here.

The following information was supplied by Long Beach Police Department. Charges are merely accusations and do not imply guilt.

• Sept. 29: Maurice Wilson, 23, of Garden CIty, charged with second-degree menacing, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon with a previous conviction, fourth-degree criminal mischief.
• Oct. 1: Denajah Smokes, 20, of Garden City, charged with having an active Long Beach City Court arrest warrant.
• Oct. 1: Haward Parker, 23, Long Beach, charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
• Oct. 2: Lauren Desanti, 24, of Freeport, charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, criminal possession of a controlled substance.
• Oct. 2: Robert Kozak, 37, of Atlantic Beach, charged with DWAI with a prior conviction.
• Oct. 2: Jaeman Connolly, 19, Long Beach, charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, having an active Long Beach City Court bench warrant.
• Oct. 3: Geoffrey Gruszczynski, 31, of Stroudsberg, Penn., charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, criminal possession of stolen property and credit card, grand larceny, and petit larceny.
• Oct. 3: Christopher Corrigan, 22, of Lynbrook, charged with third-degree assault.
• Oct. 4: Andrew Kronsbein, 21, of Long Beach, charged with disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of marijuana.
• Oct. 5: Michael Coady, 50, of Long Beach, charged with DWI.
• Oct. 5: Rene Martinez, 33, of Long Beach, charged with having an active Long Beach City Court bench warrant.
