
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that the annual Dockside Family Festival will take place on Saturday, September 12th at Captree State Park from 11:00AM to 5:00PM, with a rain date scheduled for Sunday, September 13th, 11:00AM to 5:00PM.
This festival offers fun for the entire family! Activities include interactive pirate shows, Little Mermaid meet and greets, RC car racing, pony rides, magic shows, boat rides and much more! Local nonprofits, craft and food vendors will be on-site throughout the entire festival. All activities are FREE with an $8.00 vehicle use fee in effect.
If you are interested in participating as a local craft vendor, please email LIParksRecreation@parks.ny.gov or call the Recreation Department at 631.321.3510 and ask for an application. Application fee is $50.00 to reserve a 10x10 space, first-come, first-serve basis.
