2026 International Coastal Cleanup

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that the Long Island State Park Region will be participating in the 37^th Annual International Coastal Clean-up at several park locations. The International Coastal Cleanup is a global effort, under the international umbrella of Ocean Conservancy, in which over 100 countries participate. Every year, under the Littoral Society’s leadership, thousands of volunteers clean hundreds of miles of shoreline along the New York State beaches.

If you would like to be involved in helping clean up your seashore, become a VOLUNTEER by calling the park that you are interested in lending a helping hand. Giveaways and certificates will be provided to each participant. This event is free to the public.
