Children’s Costume Drop and Shop at Great Neck Library

Outgrown last year’s costumes? Ready for a magical new look? Come drop off old costumes and trade for something new. We’re proud to host this event as part of the Great Give Back.

The Great Give Back is a community service initiative that provides volunteering and service-oriented opportunities for public library patrons across New York State. It was originated by the Suffolk County Public Library Directors Association and the Suffolk Cooperative Library System, working alongside that Nassau Library System. The mission is to give library patrons of all ages a chance to participate in meaningful, structured activities that directly support their local communities.

The Children’s Costume Drop and Shop event will take place at the Great Neck Library Children’s Room (159 Bayview Avenue) on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can drop off clothing donations ahead of time right up until the event begins.
