Cops Close Sunrise Highway After Accident
Police investigating at the scene of a car accident between Atlantic and Forest Avenues.

A car accident prompted Nassau County Police to close part of Sunrise Highway late Monday night.
Police said both directions of Sunrise Highway between Atlantic Avenue and Forest Avenue in Lynbrook were closed down.
Officials confirmed the closure was due to a car accident, which was reported after 8 p.m.
