Cops: Man Broke into West Hempstead Store to Steal Liquor
Man stole $200 worth of Hennessy cognac from the store, police said.

Nassau County Police released a surveillance photo of a man they say broke into a West Hempstead store in January.
Cops said the unidentified man broke into National Wholesale Liquidators at 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 23. After breaking the front glass door, he stole several bottles of Hennessy cognac and fled the scene at 11:58 p.m., police said. The bottles were valued at a total $199.96.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
