Malverne Kids Make Holiday Treats
Downing Primary School students create edible science projects.
Second-grade students in Bridget Jelovcic’s class at Maurice W. Downing Primary School in Malverne culminated a technology lesson with an edible activity that brought science to life.
To conclude a unit on design and tie together the spirit of the season, students decorated gingerbread. With a keen eye on design, the students used various treats to create their finished products.
