“The interior of the North Massapequa Community Center was destroyed by fire and many community organizations were forced to find a temporary home,” Supervisor Joseph Saladino said. “After obtaining community input, I’m proud to report a major renovation of the North Massapequa Community Center is now underway and the costs of construction are anticipated to be fully covered by the Town’s insurance policy.”
Over the course of the next four months the facility, located on 214 N Albany Avenue, will undergo a complete interior refinishing, with reconstruction of all walls and utilities.
