Tires, Rims Swiped from 7 Cars in N. Massapequa, Hicksville
String of thefts happened this weekend, cops said.

Nassau County Police are looking for information about a string of tire and rim thefts in the area over the weekend.
Between 1 a.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday, tires and rims were stolen from seven cars in Hicksville and North Massapequa, cops said.
All four tires were stolen from the vehicles that were parked on Virginia Avenue, North Boston Avenue, North New York Drive, and North Albany Avenue in North Massapequa, cops said. In Hicksville, cars were targeted on Abode Lane and Admiral Lane, authorities said.

Thieves targeted later model cars, including four Honda Accords, a Honda Fit, an Acura, and an Infiniti, police said.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the thefts to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
