Hazardous Weather Possible Friday Into Saturday In Mid-Hudson
Freezing tempertures, rain and snow melt are all in the mix.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Rainy conditions through Saturday have prompted the National Weather Service to issued a hazardous weather outlook for parts of the mid-Hudson Valley. The outlook is for Columbia, Dutchess and eastern Ulster counties.
The weather service said the onset of precipitation Friday could be in the form of freezing rain across sheltered locations.
A light accretion of ice is possible before temperatures rise above freezing.

A period of steady rainfall is expected Friday evening through Saturday.
Runoff from rainfall and snow melt will allow for rises of area rivers and streams. There is a chance that a few rivers could reach minor flood stage over the weekend.

A storm system will bring snow or a wintry mix to the region Monday night into Tuesday. A light to moderate accumulation is possible.
