Hazardous Weather Possible Thursday For Mid-Hudson Valley

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for Thursday. As a result, the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties for Thursday.
There is a marginal to slight risk that some of the thunderstorms Thursday could become severe with damaging winds, hail and frequent lightning.
