
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for parts of the Hudson Valley. The watch is for Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties.
It is in effect until 2 a.m. Saturday.
A hazardous weather outlook was issued for Friday, saying that there is a slight risk that some thunderstorms could become severe into the evening.
