Beloved Midtown Firehouse Cat Goes Missing
Turner, the firehouse cat at a Midtown Manhattan's Engine 1/Ladder24, has been missing for a week.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Firefighters are searching for a beloved firehouse cat that has been missing from its Midtown home for a week.
Turner, the resident cat at Fire Engine1/Ladder 24, hasn't been seen since disheartening from the West 31st Street firehouse seven days ago, according to an Instagram account that shares pictures of the firefighting feline.
Firefighters at the station have put up posters of the missing gray cat and have placed its litter box outside the station in an attempt to lure it back home, according to the social media account. The account, which was initially set up for the fire stations former cat Boogie, has more than 20,000 followers.

Turner had been living at Fire Engine1/Ladder 24 for about five weeks before going missing.
Anyone who sees the gray and white cat or may know where it went is asked to reach out to call the fire station at (347) 543-3599.
