"Imagine if going to The Garden, or any of MSG’s iconic properties, meant the opportunity to go to one of the world’s coolest lounges as well," Noah Tepperberg, co-president of TAO Group, said in a statement. "It’s clear that today, people expect so much more from live entertainment and hospitality, and both TAO Group and MSG are committed to combining what we each do best so we can raise the bar on what a world-class experience really means."
Other TAO Group ventures will add to the complete Suite Sixteen experience. Chefs Ralph Scamardella and Chris Santos will serve a rotating menu of favorite dishes from the group's restaurants such as TAO and Lavo (yes, everything is capitalized).
Madison Square Garden and the TAO Group first announced the partnership in Febraury. Suite Sixteen will officially open for the New York Knicks home opener on Oct. 30.
"Our venues have been synonymous with some of the most enduring and unforgettable moments in sports and entertainment history, and this initiative shows our commitment to ensuring that our guests feel that way about their total experience," John Abbamondi, an executive at Madison Sqare Garden, said in a statement. "With TAO Group now part of the MSG family, we’re able to leverage the combined strength of two live experience companies to deliver a full spectrum of the finest premium hospitality offerings in the industry."
All Knick fans are asking for is a winning season.
