• Two Westchester County jail guards charged with official misconduct (mpnnow.com) — A Mount Vernon resident who works as a Westchester County corrections officer has been charged with official misconduct alongside a Yonkers colleague, and both are now on administrative leave. Investigators and top county officials say the case involves a serious breach of trust at the county jail, though they have not yet disclosed what the alleged misconduct entailed.
