Wind Advisories Monday for Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Westchester
The National Weather Service also issued a High Wind Warnoing for the mid-Hudson Valley.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory Monday morning for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties. It also issued a High Wind Warning Monday morning for the mid-Hudson Valley.
It's all the aftermath of the Sunday overnight storm that left thousands without power in the region.
For the lower Hudson Valley, the NWS says:

Sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph, or gusts of 46 to https://patch.com/new-york/cha...57 mph, are expected or occurring. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, in open areas, and on elevated roads and bridges. Use extra caution. For the mid-Hudson:
Strong winds may lead to downed trees, tree limbs and power lines, especially where trees are still fully
leafed. This may also result in scattered to numerous power outages.
A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
