New Rochelle Postpones State Of The City Address
City officials said the postponement was done at the recommendations of public health officials.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The New Rochelle State of the City address, scheduled for Thursday, has been postponed. City officials said it will be rescheduled at a future date.
Mayor Noam Bramson was scheduled to give the address, but the speech, which was set for City Hall, was postponed at the recommendations of public health professionals.
They said it was done out of an abundance of caution.

New Rochelle is where a 50-year-old man, who was the second confirmed case of the new coronavirus, lives. He and his wife, a son and daughter, along with a neighbor who drove the man to the hospital, have all tested positive for the virus.
The man was the first-known case in Westchester County.

There are now six confirmed cases of COVID-19, as it's officially known, in the state of New York.
