Online 'PlayStation For Sale' Advert Leads To Armed Robbery: NRPD
New Rochelle police recommend those involved in an internet-based sale use caution and choose a safe place, like a police station lobby.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A PlayStation offered for sale online was the bait that drew victims into a dangerous situation, according to police.
Wednesday night, shortly before 10:45 p.m., New Rochelle police were called to the area near the intersection of Remington Place and Prince Street on a report of a robbery.
Two victims, ages 33 and 21, told police that they drove to New Rochelle to buy a Sony PlayStation that was offered for sale online. When they arrived in town, the people purportedly selling the game console directed the two men who hoped to buy the PlayStation to meet at a different location from what was originally agreed upon earlier.
