Stamford Woman Faces Resisting Arrest Charge After DWI Stop: NYSP
She was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of New Rochelle Court.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — State troopers say a Connecticut woman made a bad situation worse after she was pulled over on the New England Thruway.
On Friday, shortly before 10:30 p.m., state police stopped a car on I-95 in New Rochelle. The driver, Carmen C. Mulero, of Stamford, was found to be intoxicated, and then resisted arrest, according to state police.
Troopers said they were eventually able to arrest Mulero and take her to the New Rochelle post where she refused to give a breath sample.

Mulero is charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration 2nd degree. She was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of New Rochelle Court on April 28.
