Weather permitting, there will be some stargazzing of Jupiter in opposition. According to the institute, "The solar system's largest planet will be at its closest approach to Earth, with a minimal distance of 4 AU (Astronomical Units; 1 AU is about 150 million kilometers)." This is the best time to photograph and see Jupiter, its bands and moons.
