Greenport School District Announces February Rotary Student of the Month
The student was awarded the honor earlier this week.

Greenport Union Free School District recently announced that Megan Murray was selected as the February Rotary Student of the Month.
Megan is part of both the varsity volleyball and varsity track team. She was selected All League in volleyball.

In addition, she has a lead role and is choreographer in the upcoming Greenport High School musical production of “Once upon a mattress”.
She is also an active member of DECA and has won two regional awards competitions.

Megan was selected to be a member of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards and served as a facilitator at last year‘s RYLA conference.
Outside of school, she is a Long Island Science Youth Trustee, has traveled through Europe as a People to People Ambassador and has a passion for ballroom dancing.
Megan is in the top ten of her graduating class and plans to major in Athletic Training and Physical Therapy.
