Mattituck Airbase Deleted From State Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites
The DEC announced Wednesday that after meeting all of the requirements, the site has been deleted from the registry.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) announced on Wednesday that the Mattituck Airbase on Airway Drive in Southold has been deleted from the New York State Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites.
The 60-day notification period and inclusive 30-day public comment period have ended. These requirements were established for the proposed deletion of sites from the Registry.
