The school budget is set to begin at the Greenport Union Free School District.
The proposed budget for 2013-2014 is $15.5 million, with a tax levy increase would be $585,960.
"The budget falls comfortably below the New York State tax cap, which is defined as a two percent increase in the tax levy before allowable exemptions," District Clerk Marion Hughes said.
There are no propositions on the ballot and two incumbent board of education members, Heather Wolf and Christina Volinski, are running unopposed for two open seats.
Polls will open at 2:00 p.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. Voting will take place in the Dude Manwaring Gym.
