Bites Nearby: La Villini

You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Northport Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:

:  Althought La Villini, located in a strip mall on Larkfield Road in East Nortport, has a full bar that can be very busy, it is a family-style Italian restaurant that welcomes all ages and allows diners to order several entrees for sharing just as family members would at home. In fact, all of the portions are meant to serve two or more but individual sized portions are available on request. La Villini has a wide range of salads, pastas, seafood and daily specials. The decor is traditional with white cloth tablecloths and lots of dark wood.

 Open  Fridays for lunch and daily for dinner.  Prices:$23 to $36 for entrees.
