Deadline is April 15 to Apply for O'Grady-Brown Memorial Scholarships
The Scholarship Breakfast will be held June 4.

The O'Grady-Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund Committee is accepting applications until April 15 from high school students interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement.
The fund is named after Police Officer Waverly Brown and Sgt. Edward O’Grady, two Nyack officers killed by domestic terrorists in 1981.
Grady and Brown were gunned down by members of the Black Liberation Army near the Nyack Thruway entrance in 1981 after the $1.6 million Brinks armored car heist in Nanuet. Peter Paige, a Brinks security guard, also lost his life in the incident.
