Drug, Gun Indictments: Rockland Grand Jury

A search warrant in Nyack, a county jail inmate and incidents in Spring Valley and Stony Point

Gabriel DeFrank, 25, of Stony Point, was indicted on Sept. 11 by a Rockland County Grand Jury for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd and 3rd Degrees.

District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about Sept. 2, in Stony Point, DeFrank was found to be in possession of a gun and 12.2 grams of cocaine.

Richard Mapp, 30, of Nanuet was indicted on Sept. 11 for Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree. Zugibe said Mapp, who was an inmate at the Rockland County Jail Aug. 12, was found to be in possession of heroin after having a visitor.

Paul Lennon-Colon, 21, of Nyack was indicted on Sept. 16 for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd and 4th Degrees and Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 2nd Degree.

Zugibe stated police executing a search warrant at his residence at 246 High Ave. found 18 grams of cocaine, 3 grams of heroin, 4 pounds of marijuana, two digital scales and 77 rounds of 9MM ammunition.

Clyde Neblett and Larry Winborne of Richmond, Virginia, were indicted on Sept. 11 for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree (2 Counts each). Zugibe said the men were in Spring Valley Aug. 24 and found to be in possession of cocaine and heroin.
