AAPT Recognizes Teacher Zhanna Glazenburg As Physics Master Teacher Leader
Glazenburg and 15 other teachers meet virtually to discuss insights and personal leadership journey experiences.

From Croton-Harmon High School: Croton-Harmon High School teacher Zhanna Glazenburg, who has been recognized by the American Association of Physics Teachers as a physics master teacher leader, recently attended a national summit to engage in the AAPT’s ongoing strategic work.
“AAPT assembled a think tank and tasked us with creating a long-term vision for programs aimed at empowering teachers that the organization should support and sponsor,” said Glazenburg.
Glazenburg, along with 15 physics master teacher leaders, were selected by a committee made up of AAPT, American Modeling Teachers Association and Physics Teacher Education Coalition representatives. The group has been meeting virtually to consider physics teacher leadership and shared insights on their own personal leadership journeys at the AAPT summit in Maryland in December.
