Get the Scoop on Poop
What can we teach our kids about poop? Ask the author of Poopendous, Artie Bennett!
I don't know about your kids, but nothing sends my 8-year-old and 6-year-old sons into greater hysterics than the topic of "poop." I guess you can never underestimate the power of some good old fashioned toilet humor. But here's a question for you: what can we teach our kids about poop?
Yes, I'm serious. Things can be learned even from poop. And author Artie Bennett has this all wrapped up in a little book package called Poopendous. The book follows the adventures of Professor Poopdeck on his wild discovery of the varied kinds and uses of poo. This Saturday, October 13, Artie will be on-hand to read his book at Teatown Lake Reservation at 11:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-2:00pm.
Teatown's Animal Ambassadors, prized poopers in and of themselves, will be there after the reading to provide some first-hand insight on this topic of great concern to the elementary set.
