The mission of the Ossining MATTERS Education Foundation is to support and enrich the learning opportunities for all children in the district. Its goal is to generate community awareness and support for the district in order to provide an ongoing source of funds, through grants and other fundraising efforts, to augment the programs offered in the schools. The funds are used to develop and support programs in academics, cultural arts and athletics.

For example, Ossining MATTERS gave out 17 grants for more than $65,000 for the 2015-16 school year, including grants for reading, robotics, and digital arts.
