Holy Ossining! is a free guided tour of four churches in Downtown Ossining's Historic District. Each of these building is historically and architecturally significant having been constructed in the late 19th century and designed by well-known architects of that era. They encompasses the most significant period of transformation for Christian architecture and design known as GothicRevival. At least two of the churches have stainglass windows designed by the Louis Comfort Tiffany Studio of New York and valued at over $1,000,000 each. Each church has an interesting congregational history as many of the founders played an important role in the history development of Ossining. Miguel Hernandez a Public Historian and former Mayor of Ossining will lead the tour.
