The Ossining Library Foundation's fall benefit concert will take place on Friday, October 19 at 8:00pm in the Budarz theater. John Lennon Imagined: Beatles & solo years will celebrate the genius and artistry of John Lennon with music by the Nutopians.
Created and led by Rex Fowler of Aztec Two-Step and Tom Dean of Devonsquare the Nutopians is a unique and compelling 8-piece ensemble that gives remarkably fresh treatments to Lennon’s Beatles and solo song compositions that often inspire a whole new appreciation for the icon’s music. Their "Imagined" CD won the Independent Music Awards Vox Pop “2010 Tribute Album of the Year” award. For more information about the artists, visit http://thenutopians.com/.
Prices are $45 for general admission tickets. Ticket order forms can be picked up at the library or downloaded at http://ossininglibrary.org/. For further information please contact Alan Marzelli at olfmusic@optimum.net.
