WESTCHESTER, NY — Yes, it's a holiday weekend, and if you celebrate Passover or Easter you may be preoccupied with family. But it's forecast to be a nice weather, so make sure you get out and about. Here are five opportunities for the whole family at Westchester County parks.
Saturday, April 15

Home Gardening for Home Pollinators – 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Join Karen Thomas from the Rye Garden Club to learn how to plant a garden that will attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.

Volunteer Work Project: Spreading Wood Chips on the Hiking Trails – 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Bring work gloves; hand tools provided.

Project Bird Feeder Watch – 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Identify and record birds at the feeders with members of the Saw Mill River Audubon. Great photo opportunities! Also 4/22, 23, 29 and 30.
