Briarcliff Congregational Church will present a Music Festival on April 10, 2016 at 3pm to benefit the church's Music Scholarship Fund, providing financial aid for budding musicians in the area. Four choirs will be participating along with solists. The participating choirs are the Briarcliff Congregational Church Choir, the Scarborough Singers, the Westchester Chinese Choir, and SHUperman, an a capella men's group from the Sacred Heart University. The soloists are two of the 2015 recipients of the music scholarship, Gabriella Gonzales, bassoonist, and Gustavo Briceno, both are accomplished musicians from Venezuela currently in the Master's program at SUNY Purchase. A third soloist will be Yuyaun Xu, a Chinese bamboo flutist. The concert is made possible by the Heim Memorial Fund, the admission is by free will donation.
