NY Powerball Jackpot Grows to $403 Million for Wednesday
Though no one picked all the right numbers, a $1 million ticket was sold in New York Saturday.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday is growing, with a haul now estimated at $403 million. The $54,000,000 increase from the advertised jackpot on Saturday is due to brisk sales across all 44 participating Powerball states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, New York Lottery officials said.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot was $361 million and produced more than 132,000 winning tickets in New York State including a $1 million winning ticket sold in Brooklyn.
The winning numbers will be drawn at 10:59 p.m. ET Feb. 22. Patch will have the winning numbers once they are drawn.

With Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot now at $403,000,000, New York will see even more winners across the state.
Lottery officials remind players that they could be a winner even if they don’t win the jackpot prize. The second place prize is $1,000,000 for matching the first five numbers. Lottery players are also reminded to ask their Lottery retailers for the Power Play feature where for just an extra dollar, their prize can multiply by two, three, four, five or ten times.
