Orange County Job Fair To Host 80 Employers

OSSINING, NY — About 80 employers representing a variety of different fields are expected to participate in the annual Orange County job fair at The Galleria at Crystal Run in the Town of Wallkill. Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus announced that the job fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 15.

Employers and recruiters from Orange, Dutchess, Sullivan and Westchester counties will be at the mall to speak with potential job candidates.

Businesses that are scheduled to attend the job fair include Anthem, Inc., Crystal Run Healthcare, Unitex, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Medline Industries, Inc., the Valley View Center for Nursing Care and Rehabilitation, Access: Supports for Living, Inc., WB Mason, The Center for Discovery, Federal Bureau of Prisons and Precision Pipeline Solutions.

The companies represent multiple sectors, including health care, distribution, manufacturing, hospitality, transportation and government, and will be hiring for a wide range of positions.

Last year, about 850 job seekers attended the event, according to Steven Knob, director of Employment and Training Administration for Orange County.

"I think that's a testament to the talent of Orange County's workforce and the great companies that have been represented at the job fair," he said.

The Galleria at Crystal Run is located at 1 Galleria Drive in Middletown.
