ShopRite Of Croton Holding Clothing Drive Saturday

All proceeds will benefit local veteran's organizations.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — ShopRite Supermarkets continues its support of United States servicemen and woman and their families byhosting clothing drives at two stores in Westchester County — Bedford Hills and Croton-on-Hudson — Saturday, July 15, with all proceeds benefitting local veterans’ organizations. Customers can donate their gently used clothing at drop-off sites set up outside of each store, and ShopRite will donate the clothing to partner organization We Collect Clothes, which pays a fee for donated items.

All proceeds that ShopRite raises from the clothing drives will benefit ShopRite’s ninth annual Veterans Fundraising Campaign and supports local veterans’ organizations including Tower of Hope, Hudson Valley Honor Flight and Committee for the Families of War Veterans.

The stores also raised funds by organizing events, including 5K runs and walk, food drives, raffles and more.

In 2016, ShopRite raised $765,000 to benefit local veterans' organization and has raised more than $2.8 million since the campaign's 2009 inception.
