From Croton-Harmon Schools: Pierre Van Corltandt Middle School students in Croton-on-Hudson used the viral “Mannequin Challenge” to share a positive message.

In a recently Advisory Program session, students were encouraged to discuss the quote, “When given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind.” After discussing what it means to be kind, and the impact kindness has on those who receive kindness, the students tackled the Mannequin Challenge with a new spin, dubbing in the “Kindness Mannequin Challenge.”

“With the help of our D.A.R.E. officer and two of his colleagues, students froze in kind or reflective poses,” said teacher Lauren Scollins.
