UFOs and ESP on Hawkes Ave: Ossining Blog Uncovers the History of Parth Knolls

It involves extra-terrestrials, Uri Geller, secret government experiments, ESP, Gene Roddenberry, the CIA, and a scientist homeowner.

OSSINING, NY — A local blogger shines an amusing light on one of Ossining's wackier bits of recent history with a deep look at a house on Hawkes Avenue that is to be torn down for a condo development.

It involves extra-terrestrials, spoon-bending Uri Geller, secret government experiments, ESP, Gene Roddenberry, the CIA, a kids' Space Camp and a scientist who held more than 50 patents on an amazing range of things including how to turn water into fuel.

Dr. Andrija Puharich lived at 87 Hawkes Ave. for 18 years in the 1960s-70s, at the forefront of research into the paranormal. He fled after his house was damaged by arson. Now the property is to be used for an Anthony P. Beldotti Developers residential project called Parth Knolls.
